Viktoria is a member of KRO, the Swedish Artists’ National Organisation
Around the world and always home. Viktoria Hallenius and her art is continuously being recognised, loved and enjoyed.
Viktoria was born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1971. The closeness to the sea has prevailed throughout her life and in her art. At the age of 11, she moved with her parents and three siblings to England where they had their family home for 15 years.
Viktoria attended the international college of St Clares in Oxford. This is where her love for painting began. She completed her Master of Arts at the University of St Andrews. During this time, Viktoria became convinced that painting was her passion and calling in life. In 1996, she moved to London and for a year at the Chelsea College of Art.
Not knowing how to start her career as a painter, Viktoria decided to move back to Gothenburg where she threw herself into the life of an artist in 1998. She has been painting and exhibiting full time since then. Mainly in Sweden but also with exhibitions in London, Europe and the USA.
Viktoria is a mother of two beautiful sons, Ruben and Orlando. Viktoria paints at her studio by the harbour in Långedrag, Gothenburg and recently on Mallorca.
